Delhi Metro will be linked to Gurgaon railway station, Haryana CM gives approval
A Haryana government spokesperson said: “The proposal to connect Gurgaon Railway Station with the metro has been approved so as to facilitate the people.”
HARYANA CHIEF Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Wednesday approved the proposal to construct a metro line to connect the Gurgaon Railway Station with the Delhi Metro.
A Haryana government spokesperson said: “The proposal to connect Gurgaon Railway Station with the metro has been approved so as to facilitate the people.”
Gurgaon MLA Umesh Agarwal, who first suggested the linking of the railway station to the metro in 2015, said the two would be connected via the Huda City Centre Metro Station. he had recommended construction of a line between the metro and railway station to ease the pressure of traffic on the roads. This would resolve a lot of the problems that residents and commuters of the city face,” Agarwal said.
